I want to know which headphones would be best for me. I had once owned the JVC HA-RX900s until a friend snapped the plug in half. I liked them, but, they were too big and I was looking for a more portable type. Since I recently lost them I figured I'd use the opportunity to upgrade, but I'm stuck. I listen to a lot of house / electro music and also a lot of 90's style hip-hop. I like bass, which I've read is generally better on the JVC's, but I am also looking for an all around better listening experience, so the M50's have caught my attention. So the question is: Are the M50's price difference worth upgrading from the JVCs for me?
