Nice deal especially with the fiio. Personally the DT 990 highs bother me a bit ( sensitive ears), but you can't go wrong with them. After all its one of the 'Classic Three'.

If you are using your desktop as source get an used Asus Xonar St/Stx somewhere down the line. They improve drastically with better DAC and Amp.

PS. I find buying used audio gear a very smart investment. My headphones and amp were both bought used.

I haven't heard Sennheiser's yet, but for movies/TV give a try to Turtlebeaches. A friend got me those from US (Turtlebeach X42) for 80$ (roughly 5000). Dual band wi-fi, 5.1 virtual surround, good bass (50mm drivers). I primarily use those for gaming but they also sound great for movies.
