Dear FM Members,
Please advise a good quality closed back headphone with below criteria I will be using it with my laptop & smartphone :
1. Headphone should have active noise cancel microphone - I work in a noisy environment and need to focus on conversations
2. No Chifi /Cheapo China manufactured products ( If we have any manufacturer in India it will be great ) at least I could consider some other country origin.
3. Budget around 10k to 15k
4. No flimsy build quality
5. I don't mind if its Wired

Hi Venkatesh
Consider Philips X2HR, with Vmoda audio cable, it should be around that Budget,

If interested in Sennheiser PXC 550, PM me.

Sennheiser Hd 25 ii especially if you are into 80s music and rock. Slightly over the budget you mentioned but I have been listening to these for 15 years and they are special

So what you need is a good microphone over sound quality? Coz most headphones like the ones mentioned are mostly for listening and not really for calls. If calls are your priority then look at Jabra and Plantronics, they are very durable and have very good mics. Some Sennheisers also have good calling headsets.

Dear All,
Thank you for your recommendations after much deliberation and checks I finally bought Blackwire 8225 on Newegg for $106 including shipping. Awaiting customs clearance.
For listening to music I placed order HIfiman HE400I Ver2020 at HPZ.
I hope to keep this combination for atleast 3 years as my primary communication tools.
I did check tws headphones in the market Jabra active75t, 65t and other contenders in that range for anc but none came closer to Poly's 8225 noise cancellation. For a XLR microphone recording I may buy Rode procaster or Heil PR40 once I get a better deal.
