Sure, I will order it and make it ready as suggested by you. However could you please suggest on current measurements how far i need to reach more?
Your current measurements for SPL seem to be good enough. Not being familiar with ARTA, I will not be able to give detailed feedback.
The next step for you is to measure impedance. For that, you need an impedance jig.
I have no access to any pointers for ARTA-specific instructions. But if you use Speaker Workshop, check
Claudio Negro's website and read everything there.
You need a small and simple piece of hardware to measure impedance, in addition to your sound card. Make this thing once and keep it carefully; my hardware which I made in 2006 is still going strong and will last another decade, I think. It is a contraption with three RCA cables and one precise resistor.
That's all it takes.. The resistor must have a precise known value; use only metal film resistors. I use a set of 10 100-Ohm 1% metal film resistors in parallel, to get a precise 10-Ohm resistance value.
There are two types of hardware which people use -- the Wallin Jig and the Claudio Negro impedance cable or impedance jig.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THE WALLIN JIG. It is too complicated as a beginner, and totally unnecessary. Make the impedance jig or impedance cable, as described in Claudio Negro's site. Use that, with your sound card and Speaker Workshop (or ARTA, I don't know) for impedance.
The impedance jig, with Speaker Workshop, has other benefits too. It lets you measure capacitances and inductances precisely. I use this jig instead of an LCR meter to measure inductances precisely and effortlessly. Very useful for passive crossovers.
