Hi friends, need some help,
I've connected my sony vaio laptop (running Windows 7 Home Premium) to my Denon 2310 via HDMI and my avr to my Full HDTV via HDMI. My laptop's max display resolution is 1366 by 768 . It's got a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 series graphic card. In my screen resolution settings (rt. click on desktop >> screen resolution) i've detected my HDTV as the second display, the display option show's as DENON AVAMP,
resoluton option shows as 1920 * 1080 (recommended). But the problem is my display on the HDTV is cropping out of the TV (i.e for instance my taskbar is getting hidden below) and if this happens the my laptop suggests to choose a option in the HDMI resolution settings which will fit my desktop within the HDTV but the resoluiton reduces by around 5%.
So my question is how do I get full 1920*1080 resolution from my laptop to fit my HDTV without cropping out/in. Am I missing some settings on my laptop????
Hope my explanation is simple enough, pardon me if it's too confusing.
Thanks.
