Help me in cosmic turntable repair

Dear friends

I have a cosmic cogram 4000 mark 2 . Unexpectedly after playingg for so many years its become dead now. I tried checking by opening the back portion of it to check for any short circuit and I didn't find any. Then I spotted two red wires from the Transformer cut away from the chip board cp5011 so kindly help me fix this problem I have soldering equipment.

Has somebody fiddled with the turntable? The wires cannot cut away by themsalves in a turntable sitting on a rack? Have you checked if power supply is reaching the motor or not?

Do not connect wires without knowing what purpose they do. Specially from transformer. I am no expert, but can you post pics ?
