Help with finding and dealing with a web designer

Hello all

i would like to have a company website.I know lnothing about web design.
i was wondering if anyone could guide me to a decent web designer

Also approximate charges would be great - what ballpark fuigue am i looking at for a 20 pg website?

Further is there any specification/terms i should lay down
e.g if a certain web designer makes the design - do i own all rights fully? i mean tomm if i want to make changes addtition etc in the webpage can i go to another designer?
i mean - how will he get access to my webpage
how will i have access to my own page if i want to make changes
is there something like a pass key that i have to take from the web designer / hoster etc?
who owns that key? the designer , hoster domain supplier who
how does it work?

What features do you want in your website? If it has to very general then making a blog might not be a bad idea because it is extremely easy and simple to update.

However updating a website frequently can be a bit difficult at start for a dummy but you can learn it easily. No rocket science.
