hi guys..
i have already shared my FUNNY EXPERIENCE yesterday with JBL. this thread is a part of it, but i thought this was the SERIOUS bit, so i've decided to discuss it here.
now, after all the drama yesterday, i still have a lingering liking towards the JBL Studio One Package. my question is regarding the audio processing capabilities of the AVR 142. as per the FUNNY dealer guy, the AVR can not process sound over HDMI 1.3 connection and will need a dedicated co-axial cable to connect the source for audio. i argued with him that it should be able to process the sound over the HDMI and the co-axial connection is redundent. but, he said very firmly that he had tried it wiothout co-axial connection to process the BD audio and was not successful.
is he cirrect this time? i mean, does the AVR 142 not have capability to process audio over HDMI? pl help. you guys are like my only hope for true information
thanks in advance
