Hello Friends,

This is my first post on this site, but I have been reading through the community for a quite some time.. Great place..I have recently finalized by HT components and have placed the order for the below after a reasonable amount of research. Just needed some advice on whether this makes sense

Projector - BenQ W1070
Speakers - KRK Rokit 5 + Rokit 10 Sub
Pre amp - Marantz 7701
Screen - 7 ft wide
room size (LXBXH) - 12X10X8 feet (not very big, hence Rokit, even though they are near field studio)

Completely closed room with no ambient light

PS: The choices had do a lot with budget available

Power amps are not required since the rokit 5 is an active speaker with built in amp. Am I wrong? BTW, I am using 5 Rokit 5 along with the rokit 10 for 5.1 surround. Thx

Chief can u pl share the pricing and have u installed .It will be helpful as i am also in a process of setting up HT.

Hi Poppy,

The Rokits are about 1.1 L
The Benq + 3 glasses are about 1.13 L
The Marantz is about 1.23 L

Hope this helps. But there are others posts that refer to cheaper prices by online purchase, but I am more of a touch feely chap :licklips:
