even pearl acoustics uses TL in their speakers.I am not aware of any other commercial TL designs other than PMC, which I came across recently & learned that they are TL.
TL offers a fascinating design when compared to standard conventional designs. I recommend adding a power amplifier to your TL speakers; this will create a fantastic pairing compared to using an AVR.Any pointers on TL speakers pleasereply

I am currently working on building a speaker for myself, and my friend is assisting me with the measurements and fundamentals. We are looking into an MLTL enclosure, which is a hybrid of TL. The driver is quite unique.I will share the final outcome in a few months.
Apologies to the thread owner for the unrelated comments.Running it with a blackfaced Harman kardon AVR 3550 from 2002-2005. 28 amperes high current capacity philosophy amplifier.
Next experiment is running it in dual mono...
I haven't read the whole thread, but if you can do it with pure signal path modification without any AVR sound processing, then it's good. (That's a lot of labour work.) You can modify it and listen to music if you like the sound. The final result is only for you, so if you like the sound, yes, why not?I have two Harman kardon AVR 3550 s ..two identical blackfaced Harman kardon AVRs
I was thinking about trying this .
One AVR amplifier per channel.
Is it possible to achieve a dual mono like sound by using two AVRs?
Like - by - using a left channel out from the DAC to one AVR - and then only connecting one speaker to that AVR.
Right channel to the other AVR and then connecting the right speaker to that AVR.
Transformer will have to work less to power each channel - being connected to only 1 speaker.
thoughts?
