How to play high resoluton files if SB cant play them?

Since my SB doesnt playback 24 96 or 24 192-or rather the screen shows it is playing but the audio through my doesnt come, can I use something like this connected to my optical out?

I don't think the extra fittings would work your way out.
You may want to retune your NAS/ or your server setup .

Hmmm... the Squuezebox Server (or Logitech media server as they subsequently called it) should sort out what it is sending to the SB, according to what it can/can't handle natively.

My hifi is in the loft after a potential-flood panic last Sunday evening (and might remain there until after monsoon ), so I can't offer to see what happens with my SB Duet.

I'm pretty sure you know about the SB dedicate forum: I bet they have the answer.

Ive found that my Popcorn Hour plays these files.

My SB plays them. I have had numerous Hi-Res files. See the settings on the TT3.0 page.

Ok now I understand -you're referring to Touch Toolbox from Triode, right?
