, just got DALI oberon 5 tower speaeks and liked it lot.
but problem is listening ear level is higher than speaker atleast 1.5ft - 2ft.. because of room size limitations and bed cot..
do i increase the height of the tower speaker upto 1-2 ft? if i do , what are all the problems i will face? any suggestions

Well if you liked how it sounds, better leave it as it is. You can definitively experiment which position sounds better.

For most of the time, It is better to keep the tweeters at ear level unless the speakers have a very good off axis performance.

You could get such a sandbox. Two advantages, flexible height adjustment and complete isolation from floor, removing bass boom.

Lower level could reduce the soundstage height but some speakers can sound bright when the tweeter is positioned directly at ear level.
You can bend a little and try listening to them at ear level. If you prefer that, then go with a base stand.
Or you could even try tilting them slightly using a wedge underneath.

Hi
Have u got suitable stand. I too looking for a stand to increase my Dali oberon 5 speaker 1 feet from ground. Thanks.

Use isoacoutics stands, I have the Oberons 5 and Im amazed with the results, their now at ear hight, isolated from the floor. The improvment in stereo image and clarity was jaw dropping 👌

It’s interesting to see tower speakers placed on these types of stands. Are these stands stable? And by the way, which model is this? ISO 200?

I also have the DALI Oberon 5 speakers and am looking for a solution to elevate them to ear level.

The stands can support way more weight than the Oberons, its solid and do the job of decoupling perfectly. Its

Isoacoustics Iso 155, the sub has the 200 series. For the price they cost it was the most impactful tweek to the system. The result is an enourmous stereo field, clearer imaging and the total disapearing of the speaker (mind you that I have a treated room, raising the speaker made the panels more efficient in absorbing thecreflections)

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
