Issue with 720p/1080p video with HD ready LCD

Hi,

I have a problem with my Sony 32BX320 TV when viewing 720p or 1080p resolution videos. I am using the following unbranded HDMI cable.
Gold Plated 1.3b Hdmi Cable Full HD LCD Plasma TV DVD | eBay

I get the video displayed for both these resolution, but for 720p I get lot of grains and for 1080p I get lot of horizontal/vertical thin lines.

I do not know whether it is a LCD tv problem or HDMI cable program or this HD Ready LCD (ie not full HD) is just capable of that only.

Please tell me what kind of issue is this.

I got the HD video clearly in my LCD when I tried with some other branded HDMI cable.
I thought someone could have directed me to check the cable once as there is possibilities, so that I could have some hope with my LCD have no problem.
