Both are low end speakers hence it is not fair to expect too much from them. Between the two the -3 db roll off is at 45 Hz for the Polks whereas the S 426 is at 48 Hz which is quiet poor. Both weigh ridiculously less and hence build quality leaves a lot to be desired but expected in this price range. I would recommend you go for a pair of second hand Missions.
