Now I going to start tuning and aging.

Grill are needed to cover the ugly face of units.

Speakers reborn, You gave them life. Great piece of your with passion.

I getting interest to help some one who restores the Vintage top Gears.

All the best, possibly you need to fine tune them for best results.

Its awesome work man seriously.

Nice to see how beautifully these speakers have been restored. How do they sound?

Tuning is going on.
Sound is some how English sound.
Now twitter sound is little hard.
I can give 80 marks out of 100.
In this week some of my friends will come and listen the speaker sound.
It takes some more time to make better.

Tuning is over.
Positioning & Aging are remained.

Video clip is coming soon.

tiger,

if you feel the tweeter is a touch sharp as you wrote sometime back.. try a speaker grill. That would roll it off a touch.

or maybe it will get better as it plays more and more.

Yep!

I am looking for grill cloth.(Grill frame is ready)

Actual sound is different from the recorded one.
It means the sound is much less sharp.

Eye transplant!

Hi and mid range sound was not satisfying me.

Then I took some twitters from bookshelf speakers.

And they have been transplanted into JPW.

After some tuning, the sound what I have longed for was coming out.

Back ground sound became clearer and typical British sound are coming out.

The sound quality has been enhanced 50% more.

Now I can give the mark 95 out of 100.

It is time to enjoy music..................

Every night I am listening music with unspeakable joy.

Mr. Pankaj must come once again to see this remarkable change.

Cheers!

Give me a call, I will arrange the audition for you.

Pankaj came last time.

Now sound became much better than that time.

cool project - how much did you spend in the end?
Did you also try to measure the frequency / linearity? Maybe there is someone in your area with measurement equipment, that would help to get to the last 5% ;)
