Hey guys,I'm in!
I'm looking for speakers for my Yamaha RX671,so will bring it along.Apart from remote what else do I need to bring in? Source would be PS3 which is in transit from UK so will use the option available at SS/Rohit. SHall I bring the YPAO mic as well?
OT: Have opted for veg meal option and updated the sheet.

Hi Folks,
I had called up Soundscape earlier today. They don't seem to have the Kef Q300 nor the Focal chorus 706 for audition's. Apparently they got sold out jus a few days back.
But he mentioned that they have the floor standers Q500 and Focal 726v. That should atleast give me an idea of how the bookshelf's sound.
As of the timings, I would prefer going to Soundscape 1st as I will be staying in Aundh itself. Karthik mentioned that they(Soundscape) open at 11.00. We can start of from there.. may be have lunch.. and then move to Rohit Enterprises..

Quite many options. I have RTI A9. So if anyone wants to audition that, my house is also at Aundh (just next to Croma)

Had a wonderful yesterday meeting/auditioning/exchanging views with other FMs :clapping:.
We had (in no particular order):

I hope I haven't missed anyone!
We started at Soundscape playing through ruenigma's DAC and my AVR.We played tracks from Bollywood stuff,vocals & instruments.
1. Started off with Focal 726 FS: Well it takes the cake.Sounded very neutral,instrument separation was very very evident,bass was controlled (for me it lacked a touch though),for vocals KEF 500 sounded a little better to me and to some other forum members.But overall it left us impressed.MRP: 72K
2. KEF Q500: It produced more bass than the Focals but was little hazy.Although many of us liked its vocals but later we played instrumentals & bollywood songs but it could not match the clarity of Focals.MRP 52K
3. Boston Acoustics FS: Well I do not remember the exact model but to me it sounded a little better than the KEFs.Bass was boomy though.MRP 35K
4. Magnat BS: We paired a tube amp (from SOundscape) with Magnat BS but it dint clicked to anyone I suppose.Switched it off after 5 mins.MRP ~32K
We also discussed various other topics like biamp/bi wiring/DACs et al...it was a very informative session atleast to the uninitiated people like me.
Flash & ruenigma have heck of a grip on the high fi stuff.Gosh! I wished I could blabber all those technical jargons coupled with different brands & their specialties.
We then headed to Tareef for lunch,in the meantime sagarvikram also joined us.We had a nice lunch and then moved to Rohit enterprises in Shukrawar Peth.
Rohit had PSB with him.
1. We auditioned PSB synchrony (MRP 200K) which we felt are not done justice by the AVR,but it had a lot of clarity.
There were other BS speakers which Rohit connected and everyone was moved by them.Sorry I dis not noted down the exact model,probably someone from the meet can post these details.
Once done at Rohit's we moved to ruenigma's home for some weekend special.
We listened to his Paradigm Monitors,Alpha B1 & his other gears.
Enter ruenigma's bedroom & you get a feeling this guy is in some serious business.I guess he had 2 NAD amps,1 Cambridge CD player,1 DENON AVR,Paradigm Monitors,Alpha B1 and one more set of BS.Then there is a huge pile of Audio CDs,cables,laptop and DACs,HK hometheatre. Mind blowing!
@ruenigma: Dude thanks for the hospitality and hosting the eve party.You are awesome.I wonder if I get all this stuff what my better half's reaction would be?
Might be "What are all these servers"

Finally we winded off at 10:00 PM.It was a very well spent day with like minded people sharing their view & making new friends.
