Lenco L-75 modified takes pole position

In the iphono I am unsure of the ideal settings for Denon DL 103R. If anyone familiar with iphono can guide me, i would much appreciate

Nice one Jacob, happy to hear that it's a giant killer

Yes. It is a giant killer. All those who came to listen to it have agreed that it's a class by itself. I am trying a new idler wheel made by a guy locally and trying outt my Goldring 1012 cart on it today. Though no match for the Denon DL 103, the Goldring is still a good cart. I will be trying a Shure V 15 also soon.

In my new modified Lenco, the weakest link was the idler wheel. It was slightly worn out and it was quite clear and I had replaced it with one from from another L 75 and I could see there was a remarkable change. So I decided to go indigenous and consulted a very talented guy who had earlier made a idler wheel for one of my very rare vintage Philips TT. Somehow, this guy who normally takes ages to make something like this called me within a week and delivered the idler wheel. After replacing it with the newly made idler wheel, I was amazed to notice that it was as silent as the normal good idler wheel of a original L 75. He has used a acrylic material with a oil filled bearing . It is very very smooth and he had made a groove in the center and fixed a natural rubber surround well shaped to fit snug into the groove. Unlike the original one, this is soft and I believe will further reduce rumble. Hats off to such talented guys and I always like to encourage such guys . Now for some pictures of the new idler wheel.
