LG PA 70G WXGA LED PJ 700 Lumens

focus issue is an alignment problem. Initially there was a sale from fry's where they sold the PA70G for 499USD which almost the entire batch has this problem. If I go for LG PA70G then I may consider the same in india. But the PA75U has wifi which is where I'm inclined to.

The prices from deltapage is much better than the dealer price and its an indian warranty.

yeah dats true...my 2 reasons for PA75U are 3D and Wifi....bt without warranty it becomes a lil risky

Is 700 Lumens enough, bcos i heard many saying that you need atleast 1500 Lumens for viewing in normal lit. rooms.

Yes, I tested LG PA70G in my living room and found that I need to keep lightning 95% dark except for moon light. For LED projectors, you can use them only in night unless you have a dedicated room for projector with light controlled.

700 lumens is good enough to fill 120" screen in a dark room.
Is the 700 lumens output in best picture mode? Even most of the bulp PJ will not give 700 lumens in best picture mode.

Dear Members,

I would like to know if any one has any personal experience to see side by side projection of a Movie on a Lamp Based projector v/s LED?
I understand that in Lamp based projector the Lumens is dropped when the content type is Video.
