Looking for a new DTH HD connection

Hi Guys,

After going through a lot of posts here, i got confused which one to go for...I would be really thankful if some of the users who are using any of the HD connection available in india, can post their views about picture quality and audio quality(5.1?). Also how about the non HD channels, do they have any reduction in quality?

I was thinking to go for Tata sky HD...but it seems they have bandwidth problems....also i read they have removed couple of malayalam channels from their package....So guys please share your views...

If you're a south indian customer; I would recommend you go for Airtel HD as there are lot many Regional channels available and I think they offer most of the popular channels at reasonable cost.
Picture quality is good in both HD and Sd channels in Airtel.
However, I would say Audio quality is not upto the mark specially in HD channels. On most of the HD channels, Airtel has compressed audio quality which is really bad.

To gather more details on Audio and Video quality, I would recommend you to visit reviews on DTH spacialized forums. I'm sure you'll get answer to each of your question.
TataSky has bandwidth problem due to which they don't have few popular HD channels available and nobody knows when it will be possible them to add new HD channels in future.

Well... It doesn't seem so. (Anybody/Admin/Mods can correct me if I'm worng.)
Offcourse there are DTH users on this forums, but everybody may have different opinion on each DTH. This is a specialized forum to discuss Audio/Video/HiFi System and other related stuff.
There are not much details available about DTH on this forum so far.
