Marantz NR1402 Boston Acoustics Soundware XS5.1

All - Currently I am having an issue with this combination. As soon as i turn on the amp, the speaker volume is erratic and for instance if I play in Multichannel Stereo, all 5.1 should play equally, However only 1 or 2 speakers work and also the volume level is very high even if I keep Volume level as 1 or 2.

Have anyone faced similar issue?

do you suggest resetting the amp (Press ON/STANDBY while simultaneously pressing ENTER and RETURN).
