Microsoft wireless keyboard 2000 not working properly with Raspberry pi

Last week I received my Raspberry Pi model B and bought new Microsoft wireless keyboard 2000 which is not working properly.To select a movie,When i press down arrow key once in keyboard,Raspbmc keeps repeating key presses and stops only at end.I checked same keyboard with other two laptop works fine.

Help me to fix this issue.

Note: Time being keyboard/mouse replaced by TV remote with HDMI CEC.

Did you try this Logitech Harmony - multiple Keypresses when configured as MCE Keyboard

As i said my key board is Microsoft wireless 2000, Link which you provided is related to Logitech Harmony and there is option for tweak which is not available in MS keyboard.

Any other option..?
