Check reddit/r/budgetaudiophileOk, why do you say so. Is it that bad at below 500 dollar budget? Just asking with open mind to know your opinions. Any suggestions of other brands for active speakers?

My suggestion for your consideration:Thank you, I have decided not go with edifier. How will be Klipsch RP600M ?
I have heard them couple of times. These are very bright speakers. Very few will consider them if you typically have long listening sessions. Initially you tend to like them as they give very bright presentation but over a period in the same listening session, it will be tend to give you listening fatigue.Thank you, I have decided not go with edifier. Toe them out if they are sounding too shrill for your taste. For the price I feel they are excellent value. I have the version 1 and can’t seem to let go of them after three years in a second set upI have heard them couple of times. These are very bright speakers. Noted, good suggestions. Thanks. My suggestion for your consideration:
Take a pair of headphones with you and use these while you make a survey of what is on offer there.
It’s a different reality in any other country and the available choices and possibilities are unknown to you at this point.
Maybe, Better not decide on this, here and now.
The possibility of auditioning and online order and return policies offer you a very good opportunity to select speakers that match your taste, electronics and budget. Do use this well. This process is as much fun if you take your time, as finding the best speaker for you.Version 1 of Klipsch RP600M will cost me 99 dollars with Amazon discounts, which I think will be really a good price.
However, can you suggest anything else in 500 usd range that can match something close to Acoustic Portrait that I was listening too.
I will keep searching for used ones, however some names will help me to narrow my search.
Another suggestions, if I do not want to go for all seperates (dac, preamp, amp, speakers etc.) this time to keep the set up compact and also budget low (max 750 usd) , would you suggest for active speakers?
I agree. I too like to journey to find good set up. I remember last time with AP it took over an year and half to two years before I could get the set up in place. In Chicago area, check out this store:Noted, good suggestions. Thanks.
I went to Best Buy today, and they are getting rid of Magnolia studios. A Martin Logan open box was there at about 100 dollars discount.... sounded bit bright to me.
It's difficult to listen to a used set of speaker and then make decision to buy in this country. I will check if any stores of Crunchfield is available around Naperville, Aurora or Chicago area
JBL 705P or JBL 708P or other JBL active monitors are worth giving a shot. Voicing of JBL is very classic. I am sure you can find something in your budget. JBL voicing is just perfect for long listening sessionsVersion 1 of Klipsch RP600M will cost me 99 dollars with Amazon discounts, which I think will be really a good price.

I had a discussion with owner, he says everything is in pristine condition.I am seeing a pair used Martin Logan B10 at 500 USD. It's 1.5 years old, and seller has good rating. It's retail price is about 1300 usd. I called the seller for a demo. Any suggestions.
How about pairing with WiiM Amp?
