In my spare time I used the case of an old philips vcd player to accomodate a sony car stereo with aux and usb inputs and cd and radio. This gets input via a technics equalizer and a samsung dvd to play audio cd.

I have been using Tascam 302 for playing casettes. But i dont play casettes anymore so Tascam 302 is redundant for me.

Speakers have been modified to accomodate a bigger woofers and boxes filled with 1 kg polyfill each.

Sound is awsome and matches any professional audiophile system output.

Attaching pic. Just wanted to share with the fellow forum members.

Regards

Planning to add an HMV TT to the set up. This will be via a stereo phono stage preamp. Restoring an old junk TT. Pics soon.

I am making a grill for the speakers. I had 2 old sony grills lying with me which i cut to size with hacksaw to measure. Joined pieces with Araldite. They are dry now. Will source grill cloth and fit handmade grills.

WIP pics encl. Reg.

Pics are here. Grills were matching in width with boxes but were longer by 3 inch.
