Hello fellow members

i am happy to share my minimal Hifi set up pictures.

blue sound node 2i
denafrips Ares 2 dac
audio 6000 integrated amplifier
elac debut ref speakers
mision stancette speakers stand

I have connecited my system to Tv as well through optical cable from tv to Ares 2 dac so if required can move from music listening to tv audio as well.

Congratulations! Just curious, reasons for not using the blue sound node2i inbuilt DAC itself and going for Ares2 DAC? How did you arrive at that Integrated AMP ?

Appreciable clear thinking behind that setup. You also had good advisors. Especially appreciate the decision to combine a feature-rich streamer with a specialised DAC. You saved money spent on a streamer with better DAC and got more flexibility for yourself. Am sure the Denafrips is giving you better insight into the music.

If the space permits, try pulling the speakers ahead by one more tile (another 2 feet). You’d be able to enjoy clearer sound even at lower volume. That’d also increase their distance from the cabinet which might act as a resonator otherwise.

Tell us how it sounds on various kinds of music.

(Interestingly, I see the Mission stands have a design similar to my Castle Knight stands.)

Great choice of gear.

Try this trick:- when you critically listen to music with the Node2i, plug out the TV's optical cable & any other digital source to Aries 2.

Looks great, arrangment is neat you need to do some tweak to get a better out of it.I think you have to put a good carpet on the floor to cut reflection also speaker placement. If you can add bass trap behind this will not break your pocket but you will be blown away by there final result.
