DENON X1200W

POLK RTIA1

POLK DSW PRO 550

INSTALLATION - i have asked to waiver it , so 5K might reduce

Got the products on sunday.

I had to pick it from nearby city and after setting things up , i finally came to realize they didnt pack the RCA cables :((((

Over all a very bad experience with Profx.

As for the setup , i still couldnt bring out the best .

The old center seems to be too sharp and two RTI`s are soft and bassy

The sub is good , but again i cant find a even ground to put all speakers into perfect sync(quality wise)

I tried denons Audyssey suite , but not that satisfied.

I used old color cord for RCA , thats what he said to use for time being.

have asked them to come and configure things..

Without long rca cable i couldnt move my sub , so couldnt find the sweet spot

I guess the speakers will need some 'burning in' so to say for them to come out full swing...of course moving around to find the right spot is also a (fun) part of the setting up process...
Congratulations none the less, happy listening.!

I have connected the terminals from my denon to bottom + and - of POLK RTIA1

Do i have to biwire it to the top connectors too ?

I simply hear only the mid and low range and nothing in high range ..i could hardly hear the tweeters.

Try both (if your avr has option to bi-amp)...check the difference

Didn't the terminals have a connecting jumper when you received the speakers?

Use it if you are not going to bi-amp the speakers. Would suggest to use a small piece of the speaker cable itself instead of the provided jumper...

ok now things are totally AWESOME !!!!

RTIA1 just came to life... JUST WOW

I thought that will short the circuit and someone told here , i misunderstood what they said possibly.

Anyway , now the bass is little high , but till i get the RCA cables from profx i cant do much of possition of the sub

What setting should i keep for LFP to LFE ? is 120hz ok ? or should i go down ?

also what about crossover ?

Hi

LFE I guess you can go more lower than that....try 80hz and check some songs etc...then move it to 60hz accordingly if required.

The RTiA1s are capable of producing decent musical bass and so you should try settings as LFE+Main....you will get a good blend and roll over of bass between the sub and thee speakers....obviously try at low volumes and tweak accordingly

Sorry for late reply.
Again this forum rocks

Such a great suggestion , such a great help .. Thanks a lot to everyone .

Kaptan was kind enough to help me over the phone , which helped me setup the system much better.

Again Thanks a lot for everyone . Will post few pics of the setup after tuesday

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
