Nakamichi CR4 Sankyo gear

Hi,

I am looking for a replacement geared idler for Nakamichi CR 4. The geared idler on the CR4 has broken and needs replacement. I recon the gear has aged over the years and developed a weak spot. The deck does not suffer from a dead spot issue. Both CAM and reel motors are healthy with good torque. The plastic gear alone needs replacement. A new gear will help me get the deck running. I will be obliged if someone can help me source a replacement gear idler

To the best of my knowledge 'Onkyo' also used the same mechanism in their 3 Head decks. You may try with Onkyo dealers/Service centers or from a deck which available for parts.

Yes I've been trying that too, but no luck yet
