Need 2nd TV Connection Recommendations

Hi Friends

For the 2nd TV (29" CRT) in my parents room, I had a Airtel IPTV connection but discontinued due to some issues.

My parents really love IPTV's 7 days recorded feature - is there any alternative equivalent? I have a Tatasky+HD box in the main room that allows downloading serials for last 5 days... can I buy a non-HD TataSky+ and use that in 2nd room (dont want to spend another 4k for the HD box)?

Would request any ideas / recommendations...

The non HD tatasky plus is not available now and its always economical to have 2nd tv connection from same provider.

for the second connection i would suggest a connection from local cable operator with a set-top box. In this case you will have access to all those channels which is not aired by TS.

My connections : Airtel HD for the main living room (for HD and clarity) and Asianet Digital for my upper living room (more regional channels at 50% cost)

My Samsung LCD is connected to Videocon d2H through RCA. My old Samsung DVD player has Component and RCA adopters. Can I connect my DVD through RCA to HDMI cable to my LCD which is having both RCA and HDMI ?
