I have 2 subwoofer which is of different size, One is part of Onkyo 3300 which is lighter and another Wharfadale SW150.
As wharfadale subwoofer is heavier I cannot place it over the Onkyo HT subwoofer. Length of Onkyo subwoofer is comparatively longer so placing it on top of SW150 in vertical position is out of question.

Only way to save the space is to keep Onkyo subwoofer horizontally on top of wharfadale.

Now 2 questions
1. Is it ok to stack the subwoofers?
2. Is it ok to place the subwoofer horizontally instead of keeping it vertically(on leg)?

Any other ideas

Where did you get this crazy idea? A sub woofer cannot be kept on top of another under any circumstances.

2. Is it ok to place the subwoofer horizontally instead of keeping it vertically(on leg)?

Another crazy idea. Sub woofers have been designed to fire in a particular direction. The legs of the sub have been designed and fitted based on that design. Unless the manual says so, you have to make the sub stand on it's legs.

Any other ideas

In an x.2 configuration, the two subs are to be kept on two sides of the TV, as far away from each other as possible. If that is not possible, do the sub-crawl for each sub and find the best placement position.

Cheers

If you have very small place, then why are you using two sub? As I have very little knowledge on HT can you please elaborate.

Better sell both the sub's and buy a 12" sub with heavy amplifier, sub usually vibrate ,there are more chances to the sub on top to fall ,the sub are designed such that it have to be placed with legs on the floor to enjoy its full efficiency....my few cents.

My stereo setup Norge+wharfadale 9.1+SW150 was in another room and planned to move it to main room where already have Onkyo HT setup.

Is it possible to use SW150 in place of Onkyo subwoofer so that it will cater for both stereo and HT setup?

If sw 150 has speaker level input ,then connect additional wires from the front speaker output of the receiver to the sub cos ur amp doesn't have a pre out.

Hey Guys,

Please suggest a good subwoofer connect cable of 10meters and approximate price. Is the SVS cable good enough which is priced at 6k for 10meters?

Thanks,
Amit
