Need help on Inductors for Xover

Does anyone have contacts in Bangalore for winding air-core inductors for my xover?

I can give the former dimensions, wire thickess and no. of turns, all it requires is someone to wind it for me on a machine. I would need around 6 pieces.

Many years ago, my dad used to have a winding machine, we just gifted it away to a small firm, as we did not have much work for it...

Importing them from partsexpress is expensive and duties and freight make it worse.

I did that couple of times, but end up looking pretty ugly as well. I am also not quite sure of additional air gaps between layers doing few things to the impedance/DC resistance....

Hi Anil

I have got them either from the US or in the case of my Fostex system, the baffle step compensation required a couple, and a friend wound then for me. True they dont look as pretty as those from the US, but hey they work ok!

What are the values? Let me check through a friend who does motor rewinding in Peenya if he can help.
