Need suggestion for set up to rip blue rays and dvds

Hi experts,

I am looking to rip all BRs and DVDs that i own on to a device and create a library (with user friendly menu like below screenshot) that can be browsed thru a device (say a media player) on the TV screen and select a movie to play.

Basically, while i am at the tv i should be able to browse all movie titles and play selected one. A sample image i have in mind:

I need to start from the scratch (have Sony BDP 1100, but dont have any htpc etc.) and your advice would be of great help.

For ripping disks you will need a blu-ray reader/writer, AnyDVDHD to bypass region restrictions, MakeMKV for ripping to mkv format without compression. For library, try xbmc in pc or raspberry or android.
