Previously i had x4800h with dali opticon 2 mk2. Now again i have bought x3800h. Which brand of amp should i buy to make dali sound warm neutral. Will add opticon vokal as well later.

Marantz MM7025
Rotel RB-1552 MkII
NAD C 275BEE

Use X3800H pre-outs → external amp for front L/R
Let Denon handle center/surrounds

This gives better stereo performance... frees AVR power → cleaner overall sound

...

still i want to take load off the avr to amp. i have dirac with bass control and ART
If you have a sub, then a lot of load is already taken off the avr.
Besides if the room is small then the fronts have enough power since your surrounds are not continuously engaged. I am content running an avr with a 5.1 HT setup in 14ft X 11 ft room size. But if you feel that you need a power amp since your avr is being overloaded then there is a recommendation above.

i heard its not only about load. Does amp not enhance sound? Room is only 13x10

but all amp brands have different signature? I am looking for the best for dali
Its the pre amplifier that controls the sound

The power amplifier is supposed to only supply as much power as the speaker demands

It is not that the amplifier pushes power into the speakers

It is that the speakers pull / draw power from the amplifier

As to the best for Dali speakers...each series of Dali will have its presentation

Best to try and buy

Good luck !

And by the way.

On this site I get a pop up about O&B amplifiers

Why don't you try it out ?

Talk to them if they will help you with a try and buy or some other commercially workable deal for you

In fact talk to a dealer near you and maybe you may land up with something nice

Dali's always sound hot on axis, they are fun and lively speakers. That has always been the Dali sound.. You should never toe them in. Your goodselves can try them with zero toe-in firing straight ahead. I think that should solve the issue of missing warmth.

so just go with any amp which is cheaper ? Also if i buy 3 channel amp does power get shared among the channels or discreet?
Depending on which amp your goodselves are getting, but the power supply is usually common. And that will be the restriction. The power supply transformer and filtering capacitors are the limitation, this is common between both 2 channels, or 3 or even 5. So despite how many transistors are used to amplify each channel, the total power output is still limited by how much power is coming in from the inbuilt transformer. And before the transformer, how much is coming from your goodselves wall socket.

My wall socket is limited to 13A, and it used to trip when I used to switch on a class A poweramp. So the power output of the amp has to be seen in conjunction with the power input into your room. For what it matters, my HT system is a very old Marantz SR6011 driving a full Qacoustics system which is beningley effeceint. So I've never run out of headroom in these 14 years of having that old cow entertening me 🤣 🤣
