Ok so i had 4800h and had to sell it for some reason. I want to try marantz this time. I will be powering up dali rubikore 6+ rubikore centre channel+ opticon 2 mk2 as rear pair and 4 atmos speakers later. Someone said in MARANTZ we can only select 6 and 8 ohms in settings but all these speakers are 4 ohms only will it work? Also Can cinema 40 not do 7.x.4 without any amp? I don't want to waste money on tight budget now. If bought x3800h and get amp for rubikore 6 i dont i can cheap out on amp like 15k. If costlier amp is needed for these speakers then better buy upper model. Also denon x4800h vs cinema 40 any much difference? price difference is 30000 to 350000.

You won’t find much difference. You may even end up missing the Denon 4800 for movies. If going for marantz go for its processor which is again very expensive but only then you will notice the difference. Not sure why you sold Denon 4800 and looking for similar range of receivers.

AV7706 or AV8805A. They will do a better job with processing the audio compared to AVR’s. But the set up is expensive as you will have to spend for both processor and Amp. Processor will be much more expensive than 4800.

Instead of connecting the speakers with AVR you will be connecting it with PA. From AVR pre-outs you will be connecting the respective channels to the PA pre-outs through RCA cable. Rest all remains same with AVR.

Check out the Onkyo RZ-70 - 11 channel processing and amplification, solid power and it also has the full bandwidth license ( $299 ) included. See the audioholics review for the bench test, very good power numbers
dirac live with bass control is free for me as i am distributor in india. So 299 usd does not matter

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
