New HD channel 'TravelXP HD' being launched on February 1st.

A new HD channel 'TravelXP HD' is being launched on February 1st. The channel is owned by 'Media Worldwide Pvt. Ltd' a media company which also owns - Music India, Sangeet Bangla & Sangeet Bhojpuri.

Any ideas which DTH operator will be carrying this channel? I wonder which DTH company will be first. So far 'SunDirect HD' has been the most proactive in adding new HD channels.

I wish all DTH HD operators show it unlike Movies Now.

Not too impressed by the PQ, though, just a step better than DD HD. Images like the above should pop and look absolutely gorgeous.

Which category does this channel fall in
1. Real HD (NG HD, Discory HD)
2. Channel HD content DVD (Movies Now)
3. Channel HD content SD (Zee, Zee Cinema, Ten Cricket)

I think service providers should add a star on top of the word HD in their Ads and write a note at the bottom about the star that the content may not be HD.

2. Channel HD content DVD (Movies Now)

You are mistaken about 'Movies Now'. It is definately a TRUE HD channel with HD content. The audio/video quality of 'Movies Now' is definately not upto the level of blu-rays and the quality also varies from movie to movie, depending on the quality of the digital master. Also, all the movies that are wider than 16:9 are cropped from the sides to fill the 16:9 ratio. But even then, the channel is REAL HD, ie. the video is 1080i and the audio is DD5.1.
