And denon 2113 through a local audio visual consultant.as there was one pair of 9 dfs and the package seemed old with multiple cellotape I got suspicious.not yesterday opened.some of them seem to be prepacked.I have net unpacked them.Wednesday when he come for installation it will be unpacked.I would like to know how to know it is a new ones or refurbished.does package box contain any warranty or other documents
Please help me

The Wharfs come with a small A4 sized booklet/ manual (10.1 in my case). The grossly front panel has white foam attached to prevent fine scratches. Check for those as they can be easily scratched after removal of the foam. Shine a light and check foe blemishes due to use.

The spikes and floor protectors come in a sealed box which is kept along with the speakers. The front baffle is covered with a thin strip of foam. There is a booklet which comes along with the speakers. Speakers come covered in plastic covers and then securely placed in the cartons by Wharfedale.

Sometimes seller is using the product as demo and if they don't have the item in stock they just RE-PACK (as you said package seemed old with multiple cello-tape), they clean it and re-pack and send to the customers. To avoid this, always ask before paying if they have fresh stock available and tell them you don't need the displayed piece at price of new (because they always need demo product, and after out of trend/or new model came; they sell them at low price)
