No Audio meet up in India?

I am wondering why there is no audiomeet here in India,I regularly read about headphone and speaker meet up in International audio forums like headfi.I think such a meet will be beneficial for all of us audiophiles.What I mean is that we bring our setup to the meet and try out others audio setup.This is just a suggestion and don't take this the wrong way.

Almost every week, there is an audio meet in Kolkata. A close group of around 25 people, that we are, meet so often at each others' place that it is hard to jot it down in HFV.

Bangalore meet will only happen if someone takes initiative. I have done it enough times, now time for someone else to step and take the baton for the relay!

Regular audio meets were there in Mumbai till the year 2013. Its when dealers and distributors started participating in these meets it became a commercial events. So eventually it ended up more in trading rather than product comparison or diy skills display. I am not blaming the organizers of these events as floor space @ Mumbai region comes at a high premium and FMs would find it difficult to fund these from their pockets. I know of ex-forum members from Mumbai (Denom / Hemantwaghe) ends up spending from their pocket to meet end expense of these events. So its but natural it would eventually die its own death with no other source of funding these events.
