incase i go for sub-sat combo, i;ll probably choose between Paradigm Ct90 and Energy take classic

Incase its bookshelves, i havent auditioned any yet but so far my fav seems to be Q Acoustics 2010.

I have one question though...is it a bad idea for bookshelves to be wall mounted?

If they are rear ported then they need some breathing space so better standmount the bookshelf speakers.... You can wall mount them leaving some space from wall using some good omnimounts..
