How do i connect my PS3 to the Philips Hts3100 to get the 5.1 output..

Any suggestions...
I have connected the PS3 rite now via HDMi to the Tv and the stereo out from the Tv is connected to the HT..

Please Help!

See if your HT system takes optical input, if so you can connect your ps3 to the HT directly using an optical cable, while video is still routed through the hdmi. I guess in the ps3 somewhere in audio settings you have to select the optical option...

sorry no optical input on the HT...
these are the only connection at the back

Rear Connections : Analog audio Left/Right in, ComponentVideo out Progressive, Composite video (CVBS) output, Easy-Fit speaker connectors, FM Antenna in, MW Antenna, TV in (audio, cinch)
