Pioneer Sp-FS52 Vs Jamo 428 vs Taga 606SE VS Any other.

Hello Friends,*

*I havent bought my AVR yet, but mostly it will be Marantz 1506.

I have a little fascination for floor standing speakers.

Can you provide your opinions and help me making choice for Floor standing speakers.

So far I have shortlisted below speakers suiting my budget(around 25K).

1. Jamo 428(3 Drivers each 5 1/4 Inch) - It will be 5.0 Setup.

2. Pioneer Sp-FS52 - Popular Andrew Jones one.

3. Taga Harmony 606SE - It will also be 5.0 Set up.*

4. Boston Acoustics A250.*

5. Any other floor standing in similar price range.

Look for Onkyo SKF 4800 Nicely priced at 24k and very good performance. Definitely better than low end Jamo ( I audition Jamo s426 in past). Only Pioneer AJ speakers can come close or sound better than this in Clarity and details. But Onkyo sounds fuller and powerful. Audition first before deciding. Taga, I have audition 400 series but I don't like the sound. Like old mini compo system.

Go for FS52 should sound good when paired with Marantz 1506. i'm using these with Marantz PM6005 & its excellent. Another Tower in the same range would be Polk Audio T50 check with seller if price mentioned is for a pair / single.

If you want clarity, detail and musical sound the Pioneer FS52 will beat all the other options that you have mentioned. In this price range these are simply the best that you can get. With Marantz these will perform excellent.

Try them out.

Auditioned Polk Audio T50 today. Very warm sound... though has a couple of 6 1/2 inch drivers.. Still lacking a little on punch... Anyways.. Waiting for Pioneer fs52 audition.

I have audition Polk Audio T50 in last week. Different sound signature, warmer than Polk Audio Tsx/ RTia series. Lacks clarity and details in midrange to upper range. Not match for Pioneer SP FS52. Build quality , Finish is not as usual type of Polk Audio, average in authentic appeal.

Hi Friends,

I want to purchase a best home theater system for watching movies and listening . I am going for purchase Yahama YHT 1810 after read the reviews and fit in my budget in Reliance Digital. But this product not available and also demo not available for other Yamaha Home Theater system. After listening the sound of Pionner HT RS 33 I go for it, but this is demo product but he given more discount so I purchase the Pionner Home Theater in Rs.41,000.

I connecting this Pionner HT by Airtel HD Digital TV and through my Samsung BRRIP Player.

The sound and bass is very good. Sound experience better than Cinema hall.

After using 1 month I am facing one problems. When I play movies or songs in high volume, all speakers given great sound but from subwoofer some sounds coming like 'firework' or 'chatar'. Is this is normal in all subwoofer and all subs creating problem in high volume or only problem in my Subwoofer.

I also call the Pionner Customer Care about this problem but now one responding.

Please give me some advise about this.
