Do ClassD amps need so much power?

Its not just Poweramp figure. Video chip, WiFi, Bluetooth can consume more power. PC graphic card can consume 40-50w alone.

Reviving this thread - are there known dealers of Pioneer or Onkyo? I am looking for LX305 personally. I had demoed LX303 almost like 4 years ago and I was mighty impressed. What price can be expected for it?
