HiCurrently I am using Philips BDP 2180 connected to amp by coaxial. It plays Flac upto 24 -192. I have turned off the PCM downsampling in setup. It is playing the HD Flac files. But I am not sure what signals it is sending to the amp. Is there any ways to check ?

He is saying computer and not laptop. A good internal soundcard can give a good digital out. Have used asus xonar and hence can say that.not an appropriate reply. this is not the way to have a great sound. sound cards of Laptops arent of such quality
