So tomorow is the D day. I inspected the Car today, checked the month and year which is Sept 2021. PDI date 06-09-2021 (found in the boot of the car, I guess done by HMIL before the dispatch). I was informed that the car was dispatched on 8th Sep and landed in Chandigarh on 14th Sept.
Extended warranty can be bought later but cost may differ.
About the insurance, the dealer has given me a quote of around 57K (HMIL + Aditya Birla) and I took quote from New India Assurance through some known perosn and the quote is around 38K.
This includes the following
Coverage:-
Nil depreciatio
Engine protection cover
Additional towing charges
LOSS of contents cover
Personal belongings cover
Consumables items cover
Return to invoice cover
First year insurance cover
Ex showroom price covered.
Registration cost cover
Tyre,tube & alloys cover
Personal accident cover of 15 lakh covered
1 paid driver covered
I shared the quote with dealer and asked why I should buy the insurance from them, they had no concrete answer to this. The only thing is New India Assurance has no tie up with my dealer for the cashless claims.
The response from Dealer
* Unlimited cashless claims for next 5 years.
* Rodent Cover
Thats all they could explain for the price difference.
