I have a European Onkyo A-9155 that is about 4 years old and there is a major problem. Instead of turning on it clicks - at the beginning it seemed to be related to heat, but now the clicking periods are longer and longer, more than 40 minutes at times, before the unit turns on, and sometimes I lose patience and give up. Is there a solution?

I imagine that there is a part that needs to be replaced.... I reset the unit according to the instructions but that made no difference. Please help!

Not quite sure what could be causing this problem. Are all the interconnects, speaker connections secured? How about the power plug? Make sure you have clean power going to the amplifier and the plug is secured at both the wall end and amplfier end, if it is the detachable variety. Going by where you come from, I doubt if you face bad power from the grid.

If none of the above works, you need to have Onkyo service take a look at it.
