Also, I think you can change the priority class for CPU & I/O for designated processes. Experiments with changing these may make a difference too.

Options-->Configure CPU Core Parking - set this to Bitsum Highest Performance
---OR---
Options-->Gaming Mode settings-->Designate Game Processes - Add JPLAY here as a Game Process
