I bought Profigold PROI3401 from Tata Croma to connect my ipod classic to the amplifier and it just doesn't work! Tried with my blackberry too - no use.
Went back and returned the product - at least their customer service was good. Looks like this particular cable works well only with iPod touch - though the packet claims for iPod without any specification. Made a complaint with Tata Croma too.
So if you are using ipod classic - beware of this cable!
