I have Optoma HD66 projector which has now developed white dots on the screen. It becomes unbearable as it occupies more than 50% of the screen area. Found this to be DMD chip issue and the suggestion is to replace it. Chip costs somewhere around Rs.12000 in Aliexpress. Is it worth repairing it? Don't want to spend too much on it as i do not know how much would be the landing cost of this Chip with custom and whether it will resolve the issue. Please suggest.

DMD Chip replacement of my plan is actually a DIY provided i can get it in a reasonable cost range. lets see..
