Question on XLR to XLR interconnects

Hi,

I have never handled XLR cables in the past and am familiar only with the RCA type. Could someone kindly explain to me how to attach and detach XLR cables? Do they have a push n click locking system? I fear damaging the sockets while connecting / disconnecting.

Hi

XLR cables come with a click + lock which you need to press when you connect and disconnect.

As for Speakons, it is more of twist and turn lock....
