Hi,

Anyone has ordered Himedia Q5 from Aliexpress - seller luckymall or other and wether successful !!

i had placed order on 11th feb'17 and carrier was singapore post as 4px option was not given by seller due to metal body (as told) and till date tracking was showing not picked by courier, though Lyle from Alipexress told its been couriered and possible of lost in HK as from China post first reaches HK for further filtering to overseas but somehow was not comfortable and claim refund and got it.

So how do i order further.

I got my Q10 from Aliexpress seller luckymall without any problems. It was shipped by 4PX (Aramex). This was quite a while back though. Not sure about now.

So how do i order further.

Thing was as per seller Q10 can be shipped via 4px but Q5 can't be shipped via 4px don't know if any difference between body of the same

The Q10 body is a brushed aluminum case too, just that it is black vs the silver Q5. The Q10 has a fan, so it uses active cooling, though I think it also takes advantage of the aluminum case for a bit of passive cooling. Not sure if the Q5 uses passive cooling and therefore weighs more or has a lot more aluminum to act as a more effective heat sink. Maybe that's what the seller is referring to.

Also, 4PX does not accept products with batteries inbound to India per the seller, luckymall on Aliexpress. Check with seller as to the exact reason and for other alternate shipment options, I did find the seller extremely responsive to questions.

Had ordered Himedia H8 plus from another seller name "Hard Working calf" for $90 with at Aramex delivery, ordered on 3rd March and got it yesterday and custom charges 925

Perfect packing and perfect product package with remote, player and manual

I noticed that for himedia products all sellers are giving discount deals earlier have heard more of one seller luckymall but now I feel it's not that but with all sellers ready to give discount deals.

I tried using UPNP to stream movie from laptop to himedia 5. if file size if above 6 -7 gb, it buffers a lot and is not watchable . Any solution?
