Reliance Broadband - Thunder 1099 Plan - 4 Mbps No FUP - Is it true?

I think cable broadband is the way to go. Adsl based ones seems to be suffering from one problem or another

GREAT INFO...
can any user confirm normal torrent speed level...in this reliance plan..
like in my present bsnl brdband it is like 60kb/sec max.....sometimes 10kb...hehe

it depends on number of seeders and leechers and the ratio. And also on peering network .

I shifted to local FTTH broad band 2 mnths back . No FUP .

Month 1 - 1.2 mbps plan - Rs 999 - took it for trail . DL 150 gb .
Month 2 - 5 mbps plan - Rs 1999 - DL 1.5 TB .

Many local FTTH broad band companies have peering network with Torrent / You Tube and offer an unbelievable ( as high as 800 kbps) speed in some cases.

True, but 800 kbps is not the upper limit. In my case peering max is upto 35 mbps where I have got so far 2.7 MB/s (could not believe my eyes). But again peering advantage may not be available for all downloads. However I get dedicated 1MB/s at night
