Well i never said i own the reliance HD STB or pvr.

But i have seen regular SD boxes and from what i have see big tv is better in SD content.
But a few days ago they added 3 additional HD channels and a 3 SD channels and i notice that some channels video quality as decreased like Zee Cafe.

You say that but i have a Reliance HD pvr and the quality sucks, software sucks ,box wont turn of many times, gets stuck most of the time, the remote does not have home button which the UI instructs you to press(how cool is that, they ask you to press a button and that button ain't there in the remote) if you want to exit out of settings screen no return button , until now they just have one HD channel (the added HD channel have to check today), sucky support.

Reliance normal box is better but i cant really comment abt that since i very rarely watch cable channels using my Reliance normal DTH , there is one in my parents room and i guess it does work ok .

There is an Exit button on top of the Ok button (on the black color remote) and there is a Home button on the left hand side just next to the rewind button and below the minus volume button.

There is a delay in handshake with the TV when one switches sources and in that time if you press any other button the software will hang in RDTV HDDVR but we have had most of the other DTHs and stick on with RDTV because of the picture quality.

Also every one is entitled to his or her own opinion and discretion.

Are you sure EPSN HD is just till the world cup,i really wanted to watch F1 and moto gp.

But to be honest if i didn't have a long term pack activated i would have gone with TS+ HD.Picture quality or no. TataSky simply offer more channels and their A.S.S is just better then every other DTH.
Plus their UI is better and the logo is translucent compared to the big tv.

The logo of RDTV on HD DVR is small and tolerable. Now most probably the worst is SUNHD.

I would also love to watch the F1 and MotoGP in HD but not sure who would provide coverage in HD. This is one of the main reason for sticking on to RDTV (the best pic quality on SD).

For A.S.S. we have to have the local distributor who installed our dish (which ever DTH it is) to be on your side, so that once a complaint is raised you can follow-up with them and get the issue solved.

I have found it to work most of the time since it solves a lot of headaches sometimes.

i have rdtv not hd one but i am totally statisfied with picture quality and a.s.s
intially there was hitchup but whenever i use to compain to cc the a.s.s person use to come on same day and solve the problem..its totally vfm
