Replacement bulb for Sharp xr-11-xc

Projector gurus, Need some help.

A friend of mine needs to replace the bulb on his Sharp xr 11 xc projector. Other than purchasing from Amazon( where it seems to be available for 100-120$), is there anywhere that he can purchase locally? If so, any ballpark price?

The Amazon and related routes are likely to be the best.

Buying locally the imported bulb will cost much more money and it may invite a lot of delay in getting it. While if one goes for the replacement type of bulb then the quality may not be in order and it's life also may fall early.

This is an indian site which I had found, no idea about their service or quaity:

My bro in the US who also has a high end Sharp projector bought his replacement bulb from Ebay, IIRC.

There's a long running thread on diyaudio by "ywh" who supplies
replacement lamps at reasonable cost.
